WHO IS ASHLEIGH JADEE?



Ashleigh Jadee has established herself as a force within the creative community.

Starting in 2008 with a BTEC in media, she has gained experience in photography and film over the years. Since 2009 she has photographed artists such as Skepta, Chip, JME, Wiley and Wretch 32. Ashleigh has also produced content for Kiss 100, Beats by Dre, G Frsh, Skepta and Luxottica.

In 2018 Ashleigh decided to get into the directors chair, and worked with global fashion brands such House of CB & H&M, where she directed their global Christmas campaign.

2019 was been a monumental year for Ashleigh. As well as working on her own projects such as documentaries and releasing a short film, she has increased her directorial catalogue with a range of music artists from Joss Stone, Roddy Ricch, Ms Banks, M Huncho, James Morrison, WSTRN and more. Ashleigh has also added one of the most popular TV channels to her repertoire, Comedy Central, after completing 6 music promos for a chart show series.

Even though 2020 held everyone back, Ashleigh still managed to direct music promos for Skepta, Giggs, Chip, Young Adz and more. She also appeared on Krept & Konan’s show The Rap Game on the BBC as a mentor & also directed the contestants music promo. Ashleigh took a dive into the TV world too, co-directing The Whole Truth for Channel 4 which focused on being Black and British featuring Kojey Radical, Che Lingo & Arlo Parks.


Alongside her work Ashleigh has featured on various panel talks and maintains an impactful online presence. Mentoring other young people in her field is something Ashleigh feels passionate about, during the pandemic she took it up and has mentored over 200+ hours. She always uses her work as a chance to give up and coming talent an opportunity to learn by offering runner positions and being her understudy on set.

2021 has been an exciting year for Ashleigh. She was featured in Canon’s #SeeNoLimit campaign alongside two other creatives with an in-dept interview about being a filmmaker and a mentor to the next generation. Ashleigh was also featured in the 11 Video Directors Setting New Levels In British Rap article by Complex UK.


She also directed a video for Sons of Kemet ft Kojey Radical which showed a different side to her directing skillset. The video was focused on storytelling through the art of choreography. Ashleigh also directed a series for MTV called ’That’s What She Said’, which focused on different topics being discuses by female artists and influencers.

In 2022 Ashleigh stepped in font off the camera again as the face of ‘The Other Side of the Story’ Filming & Editing for BBC’s Bitesize.

2023 has started her journey into Film & TV, by completing her debut short called Ciclos. The film stars Eric Shango, Samuel Adewunmi, Severine Howell-Meri & Pebble-Lily Leslie. She also directed 3 episodes of BAFTA award winning Big Zuu's Big Eats & a commercial for Gordon's Pink featuring Maya Jama.
